Promt:Write a story using only one-syllable words. This is entitled “Dreams”
One day, I want to sit with you and watch the stars that shine bright in the night sky. We’d build a fort in the back yard with lawn chairs and sheets and then we’d laugh and hug and kiss and think about how in love we are. We would share the day’s small joys, for they are what makes life worth it when the world seems to be the best bad guy in town… We would sing songs of life and woes and God and New York and food and peace and kids and love… The songs would bring us to a place that we would not reach just through the use of words and speech. The next day we would get up and go to New York and then to France and Spain just to go. We’d swim in the Red Sea after we leave Spain. We’d stay out of the States as long as we want to just prove we can. As long as I was with you, we could stay a life time. l would leave my old life to be with you. I would leave it all… And you would do the same for me. You would love me more than life… More than I felt I was worth… Life would be good.
